PATTY TAVATANAKIT, LPGA Tour Staffer

Tavatanakit was born in Thailand in 1999. Prior to her professional debut, Patty Tavatanakit attended the University of California Los Angeles, where she became a seven-time winner and two-time WGCA First Team All-American.

With such success, she qualified and became the Low Amateur at the 2018 U.S. Women’s Open, where she tied for fifth, making her the World No.2 amateur. Soon after she turned pro, she earned the title of Gaelle Truet Rookie of the Year in 2019.

Tavatanakit became a rookie in 2020 and has since earned 13 top-ten finishes on Tour, while gaming her Bettinardi putter. Just two months after Bettinardi Golf signed Patty, she became a Major Champion, winning the Ana Inspiration in April of 2021 in impressive fashion. This was Bettinardi Golf’s first LPGA Tour Major victory.

Tavatakanit uses a Studio Stock 3 mallet, with one-of-a-kind engravings of her favorite food, including pizza, steak, and ice cream.
