Clark Van Gaalen is a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma from Turlock, California. As a freshman in 2024-25, he made an immediate impression by posting a season scoring average under par and earning a runner-up finish at the Ka’anapali Classic with an OU freshman record of 197 (-16). He capped the season with a team-best 13th place finish at the NCAA Championships, one of just two freshman in the top 15. His standout performance includes multiple wins and a best-ever WAGR ranking of 59th carried through his college debut, when he was named a GCAA Freshman All-American.
