Matt Fitzpatrick Dominates at Le Golf National to Win Fedex Open de France
TINLEY PARK, IL — September 28, 2026 — Bettinardi Golf is proud to congratulate Tour Ambassador Matt Fitzpatrick on capturing the FedEx Open de France at Le Golf National. This marks his fourth victory of the 2026 season with his Bettinardi DASS BB1 Flow in hand.
Fitzpatrick finished the championship at 20-under par, closing with a 70 to win by three strokes. The victory caps a dominant week in France, where Fitzpatrick opened with rounds of 65, 64 and 65 before entering Sunday with a five-shot advantage at 19-under par.
A major part of Fitzpatrick’s success throughout the week came on the greens. The Englishman delivered a standout putting performance, consistently converting key opportunities to build and maintain his lead while relying on his DASS BB1 Flow throughout the championship.
His 19-under total through 54 holes matched the lowest 54-hole scoring record in tournament history, and Fitzpatrick carried that momentum into Sunday to close out his first FedEx Open de France title.
The victory adds another title to an exceptional 2026 campaign for Fitzpatrick, who won the Valspar Championship, RBC Heritage and Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The FedEx Open de France marks his fourth victory of the season and adds another DP World Tour title to his professional record.
Fitzpatrick’s DASS BB1 Flow is one-piece milled from Double Aged Stainless Steel and features a flow neck along with Bettinardi’s Fitz Face Milling, designed around his preferred look and feel. The putter has remained a fixture in Fitzpatrick’s bag throughout his recent run of success, and inspired Bettinardi’s recent release of the BB1 Fitz Flow as part of its production offerings.
“Matt put together an incredible week, and his performance on the greens was a major part of what separated him from the field,” said Sam Bettinardi, president of Bettinardi Golf. “Seeing the DASS BB1 Flow in his hands for another win is a great reflection of the trust Matt has in his setup and the work that goes into building a Tour putter around the player.”
The FedEx Open de France victory continues Fitzpatrick’s successful partnership with Bettinardi and adds another chapter to the competitive history of the DASS BB1 Flow.
