MATT KUCHAR, PGA Tour Staffer
Matt Kuchar has gained the nickname “Mr. Consistency” on the PGA Tour over the last few years since switching to a Bettinardi putter, in the early 2000s. After winning the 2019 Sony Open in Hawaii, Kuchar notched his 100th top-ten finish, a truly remarkable accomplishment for the veteran Tour staffer. At the age of 40, Kuchar marked his 9th PGA Tour win at the Sony Open. Kuchar started the 2018-2019 season off by winning the Mayakoba Golf Classic, posting a -22 under-winning scorecard, tying a PGA Tour Tournament record, followed by his win at the Sony Open in January, becoming the first player in the new season to win twice.
Kuchar was the 4th player in 2018 to win a PGA Tour event over the age of 40. In 2020, Kuchar continued to prove his success winning in impressive fashion on the Asian Tour, taking home the Singapore Open, and winning the QBE Shootout with his son.
